Minneapolis - Wednesday

After the laziness of Tuesday, Wednesday ending up being busy.

We got a late start, breakfasted on Starbucks, took a taxi (Ellie's new favorite mode of transportation) to the Walker Art Center, strolled through the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, walked across the Irene Hixon Whitney Bridge to get to the playground before the rain started, were ignored by a taxi driver who didn't want to give us a ride, had a very nice lady in Target offer to go find the mean taxi driver and tell him that he'd done a bad thing by not giving us a ride which appeased Ellie and stopped her tears, had Chipolte for dinner, watched Cinderella for the umpteenth+ time, and finally went to bed early. Phew!

 Capes imperative.

 Another baseball statue.

After numerous wrong turns by Ellie, who kept trying to turn the door in the opposite direction,
they finally mastered the art of walking through the revolving doors...quite to their delight.

 Ellie mimicking my crossed legs.

 The Walker Art Center.

Ellie and Grace looking for the fish that I kept talking about.

Ellie, with cats, for one last baseball statue photo.

PS. Please pardon the spacing between photos. Blogger has updated something just as I was figuring the last version out. Arg!
