First stop was Starbucks for a mid-morning snack of mango, banana and orange something
accompanied by a mini "birthday" donut. No, it isn't the girls' birthday.
That's what these pink icing-ed donuts are called.
Next stop was the Toy Chest for umbrellas for the girls
'cause it was raining and they needed umbrellas.
After lunch, we decided a walk up the hill was called for. Ellie and Grace
decided to be prepared for rain and took the umbrellas.
I took my camera.
As you know, Ellie and Grace love flowers. Irises are one of my favorites
and I showed this first bloom to them. Hopefully that wasn't a mistake.
Seems the Japanese maple warranted inspection too.
The most fun part of the day followed. Unfortunately, there are no photos of it.
We had a good old fashioned squirt gun shoot-out in the backyard until Grace's
$1 Walmart squirt gun broke in half. Kinda put a damper on things.
