Yep, we’re back in Disney World for our last vacation of the year. You may remember that this is where we celebrated Ellie’s & Grace’s 2nd as well as John’s 40-something-th (yes, I know which one) – and our having been parents for a year back in February.
This time around there are birthdays to be celebrated too. Unca Monkey’s, aka Mike, was Monday and Thursday, I get to be the birthday girl. It’s another of those “f” ages. Fill in the blanks for yourself.
To summarize the trip so far, our good intentions of taking an early morning flight on Saturday to avoid a wasted day at home waiting to fly here was…well…you all know what happens with “best intentions”. Ended up being a sort of wasted day anyway especially since the Bonine coupled with being up since 3 am knocked me out. Seriously.
After arriving at the hotel, doing the check-in stuff and grabbing some lunch, we all went back to the room for a nap. John says that at some point he woke me to tell me that he was taking Ellie to the pool and that Grace woke then too. He claims to have actually taken them to the pool…verified by wet swimsuits…but I don’t remember anything until he woke me (again!!!) around 7pm saying it was time to go to dinner.
The walk around the boardwalk to Koozzina is still a bit hazy as is my memory of the meal. It was good though. That much did stick.
Sunday morning found us all rested and ready to explore Epcot. Enjoy the photos. More to come.

We're going to Dinney Whirl!

Ready for take off.

In Orlando airport and waiting for the tram.

Notice that Ellie has sand on her foot. Shades of Nags Head!
