It's a Small World

Ellie and Grace get to choose 2 activities to participate in each season. Last fall, it was ice skating and gymnastics. Somewhere along the way, they decided ballet would be fun too. So...out with gymnastics, in with ballet.

Yesterday, it was indeed a small world with the kindershow in the morning. The theme actually was It's a Small World. Ellie and Grace were in the Ni Hoa [hello in Chinese] group. Thought you might like to see a few photos of our budding ballerinas.

Grace on left. Ellie on right.

Grace is still on the left as they take the stage.

The ballet studio has a wall of mirrors to practice in front of. Being that the auditorium doesn't, there were
older ballerinas at either end of each group who are dancing the routine for the little ones to follow. The result
was that half of each group was looking in one direction while the other half was looking in the other direction.
Grace and Ellie must have been the very middle here.

All the kinder ballerinas on stage to take a bow.

Ellie says she wants to take karate next. Uncle Mikey, how 'bout you come up and teach them?
