I've been awake on and off since 4 am. Kept wondering why the snow plows couldn't be heard. Several thoughts ran thru my mind. Either it hadn't snowed much, which didn't seem likely considering that it only takes 1" before the plows are out, or we'd gotten so much snow overnight that they couldn't get out. Every now and then a truck could be heard on the main road nearby.
About 5:40 am my curiosity got the better of me and I ventured downstairs. Even in total darkness, the accumulation on the deck rail and especially on the table could be seen. Just so you know, the snow measured 8" on the ruler when it was put out yesterday. It now measures 22".
Holy shit Batman! We got snow. And it's still coming down. Stay tuned for updates.
