Hilton Head - Monday

Monday at Hilton Head dawned all too early...like not even 6 am too early. I woke to the sweet sounds of Ellie and Grace arguing. Someone needs to tell them that when on vacation, it's ok - even advisable - to sleep past 6 am. They haven't learned this fact yet and are unwilling to accept it as truth from me. Maybe Mama J or Daddy bob should give it a try.

Of course, the perk of rising that early is getting to watch the sun rise.

What would a blog entry be without at least one artsy type photo?

After breakfast Ellie and Grace helped Daddy Bob take Mia for her morning stroll.

Then John and I decided to take the girls to play mini golf,

but they were more interested in climbing on the fake rocks than in trying to play.

In the afternoon, Mama J and Ellie ran errands while Grace and I stayed home to watch a movie and relax. Grace missed out on the fun of going to the Dollar Store and buying bubbles. Ellie was nice enough to share.

Mama J bought paint-it-yourself banks for the girls and was brave enoughto let them paint at her house. Thankfully, no paint was spilled in the process and Ellie and Grace had a blast painting their butterfly and horse.

We ended the day with a trip to a wings place for...what else?...wings and beer. Ahhh....the good life.
