Saturday morning

One of my favorite spring thru fall early morning activities is to take my book, cup of coffee or tea, blanket if needed and sit out on the deck or front porch reading and bird watching/listening until the others in the house waken.

Meesha (right) and Lync (left) normally join me for a bit. They normally explore the deck or 

porch and all its contents before settling down to bird watch also. This morning was no different. 

Remember the birdhouse that is being readied for nesting? That's it on 

the rail to the right above the cats. I don't think they even noticed it.  

Little did they know what would happen once they'd tired of only being able to watch 

the birds and went back inside while I continued to sit, read and drink my coffee... 

...and bird watch.
