Japanese stroll garden

It is gorgeous here today and seems even more so since the past two days were cold, rainy and just plain dreary. Today, however, the clouds went elsewhere and the sun is shining in a brilliant cerulean blue sky. The temps are delightfully warm with a light breeze wafting about when needed. In short, it's pretty much a perfect day here weather-wise.

Given the gorgeousness of the day, I decided it was time to visit the Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden. The stroll garden was the main attraction...for me. Ellie and Grace liked the pebble strewn path the best. Well, actually, they liked the pebbles best.

Today's visit was quick. I'll go back another time sans 3 year olds to enjoy the tranquility of the garden. Wonder how long it would take to turn our backyard into a Japanese stroll garden?
