Our second day in DC was wonderful. The weather was great even with a brief down pour during dinner. We began the day with breakfast in Lafayette Park across the street from the White House.
Grace decided that the best milk drinking spot in town was on the sidewalk in front of the White House.
They enjoyed chasing pigeons.
Just hanging around.
Exploring.
And playing in the water while keeping an eye on the ducks.
We met Izolda for lunch at Afterwards. Then it was down the street to Dupont Circle where the girls enjoyed listening to music.
Ellie tried her hand at drumming
while Grace danced with Izolda.
Then it was ice cream time!
Ellie wanted to ensure that she got every bit of her ice cream.
Hmmm...can you tell what flavor she had?
After a nap, we were off to have dinner with Laura. First she and Grace had to feed the pigeons
so Ellie could chase them.
Dinner at Cafe Atlantico was great. So was the Xingu beer!
