But that's what family is for. Next year everyone can pile into our house. We've plenty of floor space and a queen-size sleeper sofa with recliners on each end. Maybe by then Ellie and Grace will be potty trained enough that the carpet can go back on the floor. Ha!
This years Christmas family included not only Mike, Kristi, Mason and Lydia, but Grammy and Pappy, Jim and Ruth (Kristi's parents), Deb and Cooper and our foursome.
Ellie and Grace enjoyed chasing Xena, Warrior Cat Princess around the house and bestowing pets, hugs and kisses when Xena could be caught. Christmas day brought Deb and Cooper, who good naturedly accepted the same treatment and entertained all.
While the stories are numerous, as were the photos I took, not all can be retold or shown here so the photos have been narrowed down to my favorites. There's a video or two that are crying to be shown and will be as soon as I figure out how to post to UTube first.
So, enjoy our Christmas. Oh! Not all are totally in focus...standing still is sometimes simply impossible.

Grammy & Pappy decided to escape the melee and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet in their bedroom/playroom. Hmmm...don't think it worked as planned.

The Tree.

The Gifts.

Ellie got her favorite thing for Christmas - cupcakes!

Grace thought working on a puzzle with Dad was way more fun than opening gifts.

A quiet moment for Mike and Mason.

Christmas Day and John was trying to nap/get over a cold. Good luck!

Deb was showing Cooper (the blur in the lower left) the squirrel on the screen. Coop was doing his best to catch it.

Princess Ellie.

Grace liked her flower mirror.

Trying to get a shot of all the girls in their finery - Grace, me, Lydia, Deb with Cooper looking on.

Ooooh. High heels.

Santa brought Ellie and Grace laptops.

Three little princesses.

My artsy pic from the floor.
